Maybe it will take time to develop your sites, but gradually these info sites will grow and grow. I feel convinced that .INFO can be a really good (and distinctive) TLD and I hope that over time the public awareness and perception will grow. Dot info can be quite different to dot com - it can become the intuitive home of information, the natural first click when people are looking for information on a particular subject.

The only big setback is that Afilias mishandled the launch so disastrously, and 10000 of the best generic names have been hijacked and put out of use. We must hope that the Internet community will reclaim many of these at Landrush 2 and that the names are not hijacked again by dishonest and unscrupulous registrars (who were a pestilence in the first Landrush).

With NO moral leadership from ICANN, it is up to internet users themselves to adopt this TLD and make it a success. You say that you have little time to develop LearnSpanish.info, but this is not just a sprint race. Slowly but surely the reputation of .info can grow.
