current executive of ICANN - then that may be the only way that we average Jacks and Jills will have protection in a DNS where current governance provides no protection from sham/scam registries and some registrars.
We have to hope and pray that if a new DNS authority emerges from the actions of Senator Burns, none of the current ICANN exec have positions within it, other than perhaps as toilet cleaners or car park attendants.
