Subject: Transition period?

Message:

There is no need for a transition period.  There is a need to allow individuals to keep their .org's.  I own one .org domain and co-own a second, each providing web space and email accounts to a total of about 20 people.  We make no money off of this -- in fact, it costs me over $200/month.  Transferring to a different domain would cost many hours to reconfigure my server, as well as inconvenience to about 20 people who expected these addresses to be permanent.  Why shouldn't I be allowed to keep my domains?

Restoring .org to non-profit organizations is a good idea on the surface, but it's way, way, way too late.  And with .com for businesses, and .net supposedly for network providers, where am I supposed to go?
