Subject: Middle Ground?

While I agree that its current devolution under NSI has been detrimental to the objectives of the .org domain, I have an issue with restricting registrants in .org to "non-profit corporations."  There are plenty of legitimate, non-commercial organizations within the .org domain that have neither the financial resources nor the interest to formally incorporate -- and it would be tragic to shut them out of .org just for that reason.  Perhaps a better criteria, a "middle ground" if you will, would be a "formal association of multiple persons, not all of whom are related to one another, for non-commercial purposes" -- it's a MUCH easier criterion to meet than "non-profit corporation," yet still protects the spirit of the .org domain.
