Subject: The Verisign monopoly is bad for everybody

Granting Verisign monopoly rights over the registration database helps nobody and hurts everybody (except Verisign, of course). So isn't ICANN thinking? Or worse, WHAT are they thinking?! So much work went into breaking up this monopoly, and now ICANN comes along and puts it back together again! Crap, can't this org do ANYTHING right?

So what do I have to do to fix this? Use my .org to subhost everybody else's .orgs just to make them free again? Geez, guys, think of somebody other than yourselves for a change.
