Subject: The Biggest Lie

Message:

"... a .org registry returned, after some appropriate transition period, to its originally intended function as a registry operated by and for non-profit organizations."

Why do people still persist in giving this statement any credit for being true?

Please stop yielding to this lie - are you weak of will?

RFC 1591 states:
"ORG - This domain is intended as the miscellaneous TLD for organizations that didn't fit anywhere else.  Some non-government organizations may fit here.

Exclusive use for "non-profit organizations" are never mentioned.

It is another one of ICANNs biggest bare-faced lies.

ICANN, if this is not so, tell us where "non-profit organizations" are quoted as the sole originally intended function.
