Subject: investor's opinion - worth diddly squat?

Message:

You are looking at it from an investor's viewpoint.

Most of us are looking at it for what is good for the Internet - not investors.

The Internet has to be more important - only those with vested interests would disagree.

You also make several misleading claims.

$35/year for a protectable piece of ineternet real estate is a great deal for the buyer.

1 - a domain can be taken by UDRP. Unjust Domain Robbery Process (my own viewpoint)

2 - they seem to 'lose' some by not checking properly and poor procedures.

Most serious buyers of domain names would gladly pay $100/year or more.

1 - You may be rich enough to throw money away - I am not.

2 - What do they do for a lifetime of $35/yr? Enter details once into a database - big deal.

3 - You would say that - you are an INVESTOR - taking money out of the rest of us.

I cannot be bothered to go further with your biased posting - bye ;-)
