Subject: Unsolicited vs. Targeted

I have to agree that this would be a 'targeted' email and not 'spam'.

'Spam' is email that has nothing to do with the needs and/or desires of the recipient.   I would think that, if someone owned a .org domain name and was about to lose it, they would WELCOME an email informing them of the current .org situation.

What would be worse?  Getting an email saying 'Hey, you might lose your .org due to a new technicality - Just thought we'd let you know' or getting an email that says 'Hey, why doesn't your website work any more?' - just to find out that you've lost your domain name and noone told you anything about it?
