Subject : ICANN Dear Ms. Dyson, Frankfurt
Airport welcomes the concept of a "dot-Air" Internet domain that SITA is intending
to sponsor. As an international hub airport, Frankfurt Airport believes that the
proposal submitted by SITA will provide high value and identification to the air
transport community. Frankfurt Airport having already a successful Internet adress
will decide on a possible usage later. We agree with SITA and ACI, the Airports
Coucil International, that an electronic marketplace dedicated to airports, its customers
and industry partners will respond exactly to the passengers' growing needs. We
therefore recommend that the SITA proposal to sponsor the "dot-Air" domain be approved
by your organisation. We assume that this includes no financial obligation for Frankfurt
