The method designed by three students, I guess in the same time frame as the ICANN
staff and advisors, shows an objectivity that is really absent from the staff evaluation.This
is incredible! Granted the objectives are not the same but I would have expected
a more formal process on behalf of ICANN: from the posts, certainly a method which
results in less suspicion, fewer factual errors and is more free of subjective evaluation.
I
have not done the exercise but I suspect that there is not a single staff report
that does not contain errors, insinuations, questionable judgements or opinions.
What
a sad day for the internet community.
