For those who hadn't heard, Verisign, parent company of NSI, has acquired GreatDomains.com, the largest secondary market reseller of domain names. Don't know if those hoarded names will show up there at a premium (would you pay $200,000 for Punish.com?), but looks like a win-win situation for Verisign! Even if the Afilias cartel doen't get .WEB, the speculators will be reselling on GreatDomains and they'll make more commission than they would from the original registration anyhow!
