are among those people who supported NCBA proposal to adopt the .co-op top
level domain.
We have therefore seen with great pleasure that ICANN staff review
on new TLDs concluded that such a proposal is both financially and technically sound
and decided to include .co-op among TLDs proposals still under consideration.
We
are convinced that the adoption of .co-op suffix will benefit all those co-operative
people working every day according ICA’s values and principles they voluntary adopted
and the Internet users across the globe.
We do hope that ICANN approve .co-op as
the Special Purpose TLD.
