Imagine how much better the system would work if you were "Frank.Smith" and the other guy was "Frank.Jones" ??? Then, everyone could have their own name, and we could have hundreds of new Franks in this forum. And, if what if 2 Frank Joneses wanted to join? Well we could start by using their middle names: Frank.Jefferey.Jones Frank.William.Jones And, in the end, we would all retain our unique names without causing confusion. Now, just move this metaphor on to DNS and we can actually make some progress here...
