You might also want to consider separating
the legacy Root Name Server administration
and the management of TLDs from all of the
other detailed tasks that IANA performs. This
would free up the IANA to focus on the areas
that have less contention.

This might also make it easier for people and
companies that are ONLY concerned about
the Root Name Servers and TLDs to focus
on solutions in those areas.
