Can you please enumerate what you think
those responsibilities CURRENTLY are ?

Please be careful, if you decide to answer.
You might disclose to the world that you do
not know what those duties are. For example,
when the IAHC was in progress and CORE
registrars were being sold what amounted
to franchises, they were told that one of the
IANA responsibilities was controlling what
TLDs can go into the legacy Root Name
Server Cluster (RSC). Now it has become
clear that this was not the case and is still
not the case. Therefore, any new IANA Inc.
will not inherit a responsibity that the existing
IANA does not have.
