Re: AT&T Comments in Response to the New gTLD Applicant Guidebook,

AT&T has reviewed the "New gTLD Program: Draft Applicant Guidebook,
Version 2" (Second Draft Guidebook) and submits its comments discussing
overarching threshold issues and proposing specific safeguards as part
of the application process.
AT&T commends ICANN for conducing further analysis of the important
overarching threshold issues and for seeking ongoing input from the
Internet community as the basis for significant improvements to the
proposed draft process described in the Second Draft Guidebook.
As the process of addressing community concerns continues within ICANN,
AT&T looks forward to providing further comments and suggestions
regarding the introduction of new gTLDs and IDNs.
