Association Uninet represents three of the biggest domain registration
and web hosting companies in Bulgaria, as well as Internet providers
and IT companies.
------------------------------
5.2.1. Question 2: DNSSEC. ICANN should clarify if DNSSEC
implementation will be required before the application period starts.
5.2.1. Question 5: IPv6 Reachability. Again must be decided before the
start of the application period. In Bulgaria there isn`t a single ISP
that offers IPv6 connection for the end users. The government has a
special program that will help the IPv6 introduction, but many ISPs
are not interested for now.
My suggestion is that IPv6 should not be a requirement for now, but an option.
5.2.1 Question 6: Escrow Deposit: ICANN should allow escrow companies
from outside US jurisdiction.
5.2.2 "The Securing of a suitable financial instrument is expected of
a creditworthy institution." Here "creditworthy institution" must be
defined, as it is now unclear.
