Joe et al.,

There's no denying that the DNS is one of the most important 
infrastructures on the internet.  At this point, I'm thinking the best kind 
of public input we could submit to ICANN at their behest is a petition 
voicing displeasure at their activities and handling of the DNS to date.  
Every other kind of public input will only help to legitimize their claims 
of "public/community input and involvement".
