I'm not worried of the fact that no person from any ALS has been appointed:
if I interpret the model correctly, there are 5 members nominated by NomCom,
and 10 members currently nominated by the Board, but as soon as the RALOs
are active will be elected by the RALOs themselves. This second component
will probably be constituted by ALS folks.
As for the other point, I agree.

I am now quite eager to meet our new members and involve them in the work.
I would suggest that we try to add them to our mailing lists as soon as
possible, and also, I hope that they will be in Vancouver.
On the specific appointments, I know Jacqueline Morris as she was a WGIG
member and very active at WSIS; I have exchanged a couple of emails in past
months with Mr. Shahshahani (and I think it will be very interesting, and
important, to get someone from Iran); I don't know Ms. Wanjira, but I have
been told that she was once active at WSIS as well.
However, my first general observation is that there is no person from any
At Large Structure being appointed to the ALAC, and no person from the At
Large constituency in general being appointed to any other position. This
might as well be due to the lack of such kind of nominations, and yet I am
quite concerned by this result, especially since the NomCom idea was "sold"
as the way to ensure representation of the At Large users community. This,
I think, should be pointed out in our self review as well.
