As I was one who originally suggested leaving Thursday open, I
withdraw that recommendation. It's clear that our meeting times have
been too fragmented for us to get through the items we have to
accomplish here, and that we should schedule further meetings to
reach those tasks.

To be blunt, Friday afternoon is too late for several reasons.
As Vittorio points out, it will not be used for preparing
our comment for Public Forum. I like to see the collective work,
rather than just trusting the chair or anuyone.
Second, I have made the reservation to fly out on Friday afternoon,
assuming that not many ALAC members would stay. I checked the
flight schedule again hoping to change into later flight, but that
is the latest flight of the day for me.
I was surprised to hear that no meeting is scheduled on Thursday
afternoon. While I understand that some people want to spend
that time for touring or sightseeing, I think we are paid to come
here to work and we have an obligation for that. I would still
suggest to have a ALAC meeting within the working
time-frame and spend leisure time only after our primary work
is done. Or, to find any mutual compromise.
Thanks,

All,
in the interest of productivity, I was wondering whether we should
not rather schedule some additional internal meetings for the rest
of the week. Some people were talking about tomorrow 8-9,15, or
alternately Thursday afternoon.
I think it depends on the amount of issues we need to discuss,
which unfortunately is unclear yet; may I suggest again that we
could throw a list of open agenda items to the list, so that we can
then understand how much time we actually need, and whether
something needs to be discussed earlier in the week.
Perhaps Friday afternoon is enough (though some people will already
have left), but for example I would like to remind that no
statement can be made at the Public Forum (eg on Verisign) if we
haven't had the time to draft it, circulate it and approve it, so
we should do some appropriate advance planning.
