Thanks. I agree that we need to keep pushing on the "uniformity of contracts" issue. Staff's drafting of the relevant resolved clause to say that the WG 'did not achieve consensus' and so the Council will drop the issue is Unacceptable. The Council achieved consensus long ago that the issue should be studied (see the original resolution and the Charter). The WG did have virtually unanimous consensus, at least outside of the purely self-interested contracting parties, that there should be uniformity around contracting parties' responsibility to deal with abuse. A lot of work went into demonstrating the lack of uniformity and how it has created confusion around contracting parties' responsibility to deal with abuse. This is nothing more than contracting parties trying to bury an issue that they don't like, and Staff eating out of their hands since it would clearly be less work for Staff if the issue is dropped. We should keep fighting and I am happy to help with that.
