Dear ICANN,
As a small and too often struggling business owner I am
firmly opposed to the proposed VARIABLE PRICING of
Domain Names.
As we all know, the Internet is a wonderful tool for
education, entertainment and commerce.
It has been one of the major revolutions of my lifetime.
And it's success is primarily due to the low barrier
(cost) of entry, so that worldwide business and
organizations can set up a website with very little
resources that can reach worldwide.
We must keep it as free and unfettered with
bureaucratic influence and sticker-pricing as is possible.
If you do this, it's a guarantee that governments,
telcos, and other related groups will all feel
compelled to add their own 'TAX' on top of yours.
I urge you to say NO to this proposal
Sincerely,
Craig Eubanks
San Francisco CA
