I oppose the "variable pricing of domain names"
 
If the net is to survive, then please do not put legitimate businesses
out of business.
Charging a set FEE, comparable to other businesses doing a certain
volumn of business,
Sounds okay.  But for the sake that you can rip off these sound, hard
working entrepreneurs
That is UN-AMERICAN!
 
I would advise you think hard and long before doing this!
