As the registry for the .eu TLD, we have been working with the CAC for more
than a year now and would like to express our satisfaction concerning their
proficient and professional handling of .eu domain name disputes.

The registry has made thorough use of the majority of the features contained
within the CAC's UDRP proposal and has found them to be sound and robust.
Several of the features contained within the proposal, such as complete
electronic case administration and digital signatures, have been adopted
from the current ADR platform - a system that has been found to be
convenient to use and user friendly and that more than adequately copes with
demands placed upon it by registrants, third parties and the registry alike.

The proposal also puts forward the implementation of a class action policy.
This too we would like to endorse as, although never introduced for .eu
domain name disputes, we feel that it could prove beneficial for multiple
rights owners (and their respective legal representatives) involved in a
case against a single respondent (registrant of the disputed domains,)
although the question does remain as to how the domain names forming part of
the dispute could be obtained by the complainants.

Having seen how the ADR platform has evolved and matured since the
introduction of .eu disputes in 2006, we are confident that the CAC is
equipped to deal with UDRP proceedings. Moreover we believe that the CAC
will implement any necessary changes to its supplemental rules and online
features to ensure that it fulfills the needs of all parties involved in a
UDRP dispute.
