One of the main subjects of discussion in the domain name industry today is the 
subject of new gTLDs.  One of the key issues for brand owners and consumers is 
how to deal with abusive domain name registrations.  As someone who a decade 
ago signed into law the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act - you led 
the way against abusive registrations.  However, you, yourself have been 
targetted when someone registered <presidentbillclinton.com>, 
<williamjclinton.com> and <williamclinton.com>.  You filed a UDRP complaint 
against the registrant seeking the transfer of these domain names, though 
ultimately the panelist denied your claim - somewhat surprisingly in my view as 
the panelist decided that the registrant was not acting in bad faith.  I thus 
have three questions:  (a) how you felt about losing this case? (b) how you 
felt about your wife having succeeded in her UDRP complaint with almost 
identical facts concerning the domain name <hillaryclinton.com> and, somewhat 
more seriously (c) how critical do you think the protection of consumers and 
brand owners rights are at this pivotal point in the history of the Internet 
where we will be faced with hundreds if not thousands of new gTLDs in the 
coming years.
