Over the last few years I have attempted to contact the .JOBS Registry for both
informational purposes when researching the .JOBS TLD in an effort try to
establish a clearer understanding of their polices and also, in the last few
months on behalf of my employer, an ICANN Accredited registrar for the purposes
of becoming a .JOB Registrar.
All attempts to contact, which include contacting all available email contacts
and calling and leaving messages have been completely ignored. It is because of
this that I believe Employ Media has failed to meet section 7.1a of their
current Registry Agreement to provide fair access to registry services.
Additionally I wish to comment on the extreme length and delays in the
registration process for registrants. On the 14th October I submitted 3
applications on behalf of a customer for .JOBS domain names through our current
registration partner (after all, we couldn't do it directly as they don't
reply), we have had confirmation that these were submitted to the registry.
To date these domains, which cost a considerable amount, have yet to be
accepted and delegated, nor rejected. This is marks almost 2 months which is
completely unacceptable.
I would like to ask ICANN to seriously consider reviewing Employ Medias
performance and for the sake of existing and future registrants seek a new
operator who is prepared and able to operate the zone in a manor which ensures
both responsive and fair access for registrars, and which also ensures that
registrants can rely on their applications being processed within a timely
manor.
