Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):

How would the CEO of ICANN like it if their personal address was given out
unilaterally every time someone chose to make a complaint about their
leadership or about ICANN? I suspect not very much.

Yet this is in effect what is being considered for website owners related
to any small business.

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.

Privacy, like democracy, is worth fighting for.

If ICANN chooses not respect our privacy we will fight to ensure that ICANN
is no longer allowed to remain the competent authority.

Private information should be kept private. Thank you.
