Dear ICANN –
Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation Issues
Policy document):
Please take into consideration that some things should remain private. It is
bad enough that corporations sell my private information for profit. We are
clearly moving towards a future of complete transparency -- for the public and
those who profit from the public's private information. That time is not here
yet. The only transparency is on the public's end, and detrimental to our
personal privacy.
I urge you to take my letter into consideration and also the hundreds of
thousands of others whose personal privacy is at the fate of your decision.
Sincerely,
Zach Greenwood
