Uniregistry, Corp. is a registry services company for new gTLDs, including
.LINK, .PHOTO and .CHRISTMAS, among others. Although Uniregistry has not
applied for the release of two-letter second-level domains at this time, the
company supports the RSEPs currently filed and believes that all two-letter
domains should be capable of being registered in new gTLDs.
Importantly, Uniregistry believes that new gTLDs should not face restrictions
not placed on legacy TLDs such as .COM or ccTLDs. We believe that placing
restrictions on new gTLD registries that are not placed on the companies in
competition with the new gTLDs violates the "Non-Discriminatory Treatment"
provision of the ICANN Bylaws (Article II, Section 3).
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this important issue.
