Something has to be done to reduce the availability of pornography on
the internet. The internet is currently the main source of pornography.
I don't believe it is possible to remove pornography from the internet
entirely, but there is certainly nothing wrong with making it a little
more difficult to reach. Quite often, it now pops up in front of people
by accident. This shouldn't be. 

 

If this type of thing happened on Television (remember the superbowl),
the producer would be fined, even if the occurrence was accidental.
Unfortunately, the internet currently has a much lower threshold for
indecency. We need a mechanism for reducing the availability of
pornography without trampling on peoples basic rights to access. At the
same time, one person's basic right to access pornography should not
trump another person's right to avoid access. This approach appears to
be a step in the right direction.
