I support Jon Nevett's comments on this issue.  Wouldn't it be absurd for 
applicants to have to wait another fifteen months from the date the Applicant 
Guidebook is approved to delegation, especially for strings that are unopposed 
and utilizing existing registry technology.  ICANN should endeavor to compress 
the schedule wherever possible, before every penny initially set aside for 
marketing is spent on wages!
