Proposed pre-registration COMMENTS

Dear Sirs

Our comments on the proposed pre-registration programme for new gTLDs are as 
follows.

We believe that the overarching issues concerning trade mark protection in the 
new gTLD programme have not been resolved and it is therefore premature to 
consider accepting pre-registrations.  Initiating the pre-registration process 
might put an artificial time pressure on the introduction of gTLDs.  There is 
therefore a risk that gTLDs would be introduced with unresolved, rushed and/or 
incomplete procedures.
