i've updated the risk-scenario worksheet based on our call this morning.
here's a link to the new version (v5)
i've also tested the spreadsheet by taking the scenarios that Jorg and Rossella
created and loading them into the new version. several notes about that.
Rossella, i created a separate file for each of the four scenarios you created
-- i think that will make it easier to keep the versions straight as they get
revised. i also went ahead and picked a threat-event for each of your
scenarios and assigned them a mid-point value of 5 for likelihood -- you'll
want to check that. Jorg, i think i may have done the same with yours, but i
got distracted by another call and can't remember -- you'll want to check my
work. the easiest way is to compare the overall-risk score. if it differs,
you'll be able to tell which value i changed.
i've posted those to the "threat scenarios" page of the wiki (i haven't done
mine or Warren's yet, but i'll probably be able to get those done tonight --
right now i've got to go out and tend to some farm-related projects). here's a
link to the page
for those of you who use open-source software, Warren Kumari suggested that
LibreOffice might work better for you than OpenOffice (the drop-downs don't
work in OpenOffice). i've confirmed what Warren said on the call -- the
drop-downs do work on the Mac version of LibreOffice. here's a link to the
download site for the software.
that concludes my report. :-)
