Nominet is the manager of the United Kingdon country-code top level domain 
.uk and is a long-time participant in the DNS community and a member of 
the ccNSO.

Nominet welcomes the publication of EAG analysis, which has been much 
requested and long-awaited by many members of the ccTLD community. We 
appreciate both the work that will have been involved in producing the 
analysis and the visible commitment of the CFO to engagement and dialogue 
with the community. 

In order to inform community dialogue going forward, we would also like to 
see:
- an analysis of ccNSO costs by functional area
- a separation and presentation of core ccNSO costs, so that we can review 
base line ongoing costs
- a separation and presentation of significant project costs

Finally, we strongly encourage the development of greater awareness of the 
financial implications of both projects and strategic choices within the 
ICANN Strategic and Operating Plan process, so that more informed 
decisions regarding priorities and their costs are made as part of that 
process.
