All; Set forth below for your records is a copy of my email communication to John Jeffrey last night submitting the revised supplemental statements to the final report and updating the report to reflect those submissions. Now that the report has been submitted to the Board and some of you have probably begun to share it with the groups you represented, AND you all are moving toward opening up the email list and the meeting tapes to the community, I assume that it would be appropriate, in the spirit of complete community transparency, to circulate the final document to the GNSO and liaison mailing lists. Pursuant to ICANN Board resolution 2008.06.26.13, I previously submitted to you the "Report to ICANN Board of Directors From The Working Group on GNSO Council Restructuring." In that original report group members asked for some latitude to allow individual group members editorial privileges to amend their supplemental statements as multiple comments and drafts of the report had changed hands cross time zones and sleeping schedules. Three statements - from the Nominating Committee Appointee representative, the gTLD Registries Constituency representative and the At-Large Advisory Committee representative - have been provided to me today and it is respectfully requested that they be considered by the Board. Those three statements are presented in a single document attached to this message. I have also revised Attachment B of the group's original report by substituting and inserting these new documents. The new document, which remains the same as the original except for the revised Attachment B, is also attached to this message. It is labeled "Updated Report To ICANN Board of the Working Group On GNSO Council Restructuring 25 July 2008 Revised Statements.doc" Please circulate whichever combination of the documents you think is appropriate on to Board members consistent with your Board practice.
