Hi Stephane

A personal response.....

Our WG is meeting again tomorrow to:

1. Continue to work through the comments we have received...with a view to
having our thoughts ready for discussion in Prague. I think ( subject to
further discussion tomorrow) we will want to present to GNSO Council during
Prague...a Draft Advice document which will be almost there but wanting to use
Prague for last discussions before finalising our Draft Advice to go to GNSO
and then to be made available to ccNSO, ALAC and GAC.

2. Discuss a draft letter to be sent from you ( recipient either GAC or ICANN
Board - to be agreed at WG level) asking for GAC to provide early feedback to
the WG and hopefully before we send our final DRAFT ADVICE to GNSO as per our
Charter. GNSO then needs to 1) consider this Draft Advice itself and 2) forward
the Draft Advice to ccNSO, GAC and ALAC for their consideration and separate
advice to the Board.

I will let you know after our meeting where the WG is up to.

We are keen to get early GAC advice on our Draft Advice if we can, as we see
the issues as key for GAC and it would be good to have some indication of their
views. This will mean a discussion by GAC during the Prague meeting.

The WG is happy to provide more info for GAC at the meeting. The WG is also
pleased to discuss progress with GNSO during the Working Sessions.

I should add that ALAC has been very involved in the Working Group but we are
charterd by GNSO only.

I hope this helps and will confirm the WG views for you as soon as I can

Cheers

Rosemary
