I thought the following Reuters story published late yesterday on
Washingtonpost.com might be of interest:
MICROSOFT CALLS FOR BROAD NATIONAL PRIVACY LAW
Microsoft has called for a broad national law to protect
consumer privacy. A top Republican lawmaker said he planned
to push such a bill next year, amid heightened consumer
concerns about identity theft and online fraud.
