As a refresher, the OPOC proposal would effectively remove the following fields from a registrar's Whois output:

- All data relating to the registered name holder except for the name of the person/entity (note: Wendy Seltzer proposed removing the name as well)
- All data relating to the administrative and technical contact (note: contact data for the operational point of contact would be added instead)

We also shouldn't forget that the removal of the the admin, technical and registered nameholder data in the oPOC proposal is contingent on it being replaced by new data with differing responsibilities such that the removal of the old data becomes inconsequential from a practical standpoint. i.e. Removing registrant data from the publicly displayed whois data is replaced by the addition of the operational point of contact data who has a responsibility to act as a contact point for the registered name holder (and therefore, for instance, deal with, and/or, pass on various issues related to the management of the name.)

I don't believe it is helpful or appropriate for this data to be removed unless there is data and process to replace it that facilitates the needs of the various stakeholders that have a legitimate need to interact with the registered name holder, or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
