I'm listening to a presentation by Akamai on "DNS authority spreading",
which they describe as "directing resolvers to a greater number of name
server addresses than can fit in a normal DNS delegation reply" to improve
resilience.

They acknowledge that this may trigger current methods of detecting
malicious networks. That's the bad news.

The good news is that they are very keen to help discriminate between
malicious and "business" use.
