Re: [gnso-idn-wg] Meaning of something being at support level
I do not think it is appropriate to remove > a support statement because someone disagrees with it. I guess that > is why I will argue against removing any statement that has support, > even if I don't agree with it totally or even at all Thanks for bringing this up again Avri. It is a serious issue, in that the exercises of creating a WG, which I will 'repeat' from what I said on the call this morning, is to get views of interested and contributing people so they provide feedback to the Council on what the Council needs to make its decision on. Given that we understand the principles of the above, to suggest to throw away an idea that has 'support' by any WG is throwing away the baby with the bath water, which brings me to the question of why we had a WG to begin with. None of us certainly contribute to this group by waking up at the wee hours for any supported ideas to be 'deleted', at the end. Maybe there is a way that a preliminary report can be drafted in a simplified way to present to Council to highlight the issues, instead of anticipating Council's weariness to reading a long tiring report. Personally, I have always appreciated NCUCs matrix format, to share main ideas and get consensus. . kind regards, Sophia On 20/03/07, Avri Doria <avri@xxxxxxx> wrote:
