Dear All,

I just wanted to send a quick note. Unfortunately I won't be able to join again 
tomorrow as I'm in all day meetings. Hope this will be the last Tuesday I'm 
missing for a while.

I have followed the discussion around the aftermarket perspective over the past 
two weeks and am waiting to hear from tomorrow's call what the group consensus 
will be around this topic before taking next steps. I have to admit that I was 
a bit surprised that the group thought we were aiming for a general survey 
rather than a more narrow feedback round from the aftermarket. That's what I 
thought Bob and I were asked to provide in the call three weeks ago.

I do however believe that we are all in the same boat with this issue, 
regardless if one is a registrar, registry or a provider of aftermarket 
services. We all aim to facilitate secure and efficient transactions around 
domain names (both with each other and for our clients). So if a more general 
survey is what the group feels is most needed at this point in time, we should 
work on that.
