Surely TLD is irrelevant - they're mandatory requirements for all domain
registrations ;)

At the point of a transfer starting, registrars can/do/must validate the EPP
transfer code - perhaps as the point of EPP from its name is *extensible* we
should be agreeing a "get contacts" extension to retrieve them from the
current registrar at that point - this eliminating the potential "scraping"
errors or potential "internal hijack" of a domain ?
