hi all,

sorry about my unexpected absence for today's call.

i've just discovered that the local cell provider here in the Bay of 
Fundy (Nova Scotia) doesn't do data *or* cell for anybody except 
themselves.  so i've been off the net for about 3 days and, after i 
depart this lovely community internet-access center, will probably be 
off the net for a few more.
