Dear Claudio and Team;

I have attached the Staff comments on the Registry and Registrar Charter 
renewals.  My apologies! I thought I had followed up with the documents from 
our last dialogue on this topic, but I cannot locate a specific email from me 
to you all on the subject.

Obviously a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since these thoughts were 
first expressed, so please take that into consideration when you review.

As always, happy to answer any additional queries or field follow-up comments.

Agreed. From a chronological standpoint, I believe we reviewed the 
recertifications before the SG charters were approved.

We should either receive these documents from staff now or amend the language I 
copied below to make it clear we only reviewed the non-contracted party 
recertifications.

With the approval of the contracted party SG charters, there are no longer any 
recertifications of constituencies, but you could still look at the 
communications that happened to get to that point if you think that is useful, 
assuming that Staff can provide the info you are looking for.

Victoria,

The draft document you wrote, states under "Staff Review":

"The Staff reviewed each Constituency Charter and Recertification application 
and made comments and suggestions to each Constituency. We also considered the 
Staff comments [and responses from Constituencies] [create master schedule and 
refer]."

I do not recall ever seeing the staff comments on the Registry or Registrar 
constituency recertification documents. The last email I have from Rob on this 
(attached) has the staff comments on the non-contracting party recertification 
documents.

Do you have a copy of the staff comments on contracting-party recertification 
documents?

Rob, if you have not sent these over to our list yet, can you please do so?

Olga - I was proposing to write up and summarise comments on subtask 1.2 
--rather than include them verbatim. Both your comments and those of other 
subtask members and any others. I'd like to reserve the final decision on that 
until the final comments come in tomorrow. I think we also need to consider our 
timeframes again following Robert's point ---and work in time for us to try to 
reach a consensus ---as its this group that must try to do so ---not our

some comments:

1. I have finished reviewing the document prepared by VIctoria, which is very 
complete and includes several recommendations.

Claudio has already comment, also mysefl. The document with our comments is 
attached to this email, please remember we have a due date for this revision 
which is next Tuesday 1st September.

2. SS will send his documents in parts, Krista will send her documents soon.

3. Julie will include Claudio´s recommendations in her document.

We will try to have all draft document of subtasks by Friday 4 september and 
organize our work during our conference call that day.

Please let me know if any of you need help.

Dear Work Team members,

First let me commend all of you for all the work done so far.

We have made a great progress and we still have some more work to do in order 
to reach our gol in finishing a recommendations draft document by the end of 
next week.

In this sense let me summarize what was discussed in our conference call today:

1. WT should look and comment SS document.
SS will add background and additional information and will circulate new 
version of the document.

2. A due date for sending comments to Victoria´s document is set for next 
Tuesday, members of subworking team are welcome to comment and the rest of the 
wt also can comment.

3. Krista and Tony will send to the list their draft recommendations document, 
Victoria will join them in doing this task.
WT should review and comment the document once sent to the list.

4. Julie: is it possible to consider / include Claudio´s suggestions to your 
draft document about subtask 4?

5. Formatting of the final draft recommendations document: my suggestion is to 
use the same format that Julie and Chuck use in theirs: references, 
introduction, background, recommendations and add a general conclusion. I 
volunteer for preparing the general draft once we have the different parts 
ready.

6. Timing: we should define the due date for sending our draft document to the 
OSC.
Chuck, could you please help us defining this date? Considering that the 
document must be approved by the OSC and by the GNSO council and next 
conference call of GNSO are Sept 3 and Sept 24.

Remember that we have our next conference call next Friday 1300 GMT.
