I proposed the following edit to better flush out and clarify this 
recommendation.

THERE SHOULD BE EMPHASIS ON CONSENSUS BUILDING IN GROUP DELIBERATIONS. GROUPs 
SHOULD REFER to the GNSO WG model. The use of voting WITHIN POLICY 
DELIBERATIONS should be minimized as much as possible.

WHATEVER CONSENSUS BUILDING MODEL OR PROCESS A GROUP USES, THE GROUP MUST 
DESCRIBE THE PROCESS IN THEIR BYLAWS OR CHARTER SO IT IS VISIBLE AND 
TRANSPARENT.

Thanks Chuck, I was hoping that Krista and others would respond to this email 
to indicate whether the new time works for them, but I can send a specific 
message to Krista too.

Yes, Task 1, Subtask 1 is pending a response from ICANN legal staff, although 
we did make it through the discussion of the document.

We have not yet taken up Subtask 2.

Regarding 2 below, I don't think we have quite finished discussion of task 1, 
subtask 2 because of item 1 below.  It is correct though that we did finish 
going through subtask 2.

Here are the  actions/summary from today’s meeting.  Please note that our next 
meeting  will be held next Friday, 05 February, beginning 1 hour earlier —  at 
1300 UTC/0500 PST/0800 EST — and is scheduled for 90  minutes.  Please let me 
know if you are unable to meet at that  time.  The topic of our discussion next 
week will be the Task 1, Subtask  2 document at:

   In addition, for the next 4 weeks we will meet weekly.

Actions/Summary:

1. Julie Hedlund  will circulate language from Task 1, Subtask 1, Section 2f to 
ICANN legal  staff for review and suggested approaches.

2. Work Team members  completed the discussion of Task 1, Subtask 1. Julie 
Hedlund incorporated  changes in the wiki document (reflected in ALL CAPS and 
strikeout) at: Task 1,  Subtask 1
