Thanks Philip.

I support the revised definitions below and particularly appreciate the
clarification of the SoI and DoI.

Regarding Section 5 of the proposed procedures:

Global edit: Change references to "GNSO Vice-Chair" to "Vice-Chairs".

5.2.2.b - Change "The executive of this policy is administered by ICANN
staff." to "This policy is administered by ICANN staff."

5.3.1 - Change the last sentence from "A completed Statement of
Interest, updated at least annually, is a precondition for Relevant
Parties to participate in the GNSO." to "A completed Statement of
Interest, updated at least annually, is a precondition for Relevant
Parties to participate in a GNSO group."

5.3.4 - Change the last sentence from "Such changes shall also be
recorded in the minutes of the meeting at which the Relevant Party
advises of such change." to "Such changes shall also be recorded in the
minutes of the meeting at which the Relevant Party advises of such
change and should be posted as soon as possible."

5.6.1 - The last clause of the last sentence is unclear to me: ". .
there are questions or concerns about completeness and/or accuracy until
a final determination is made pursuant to the appeal provisions in
5.5.3". Is something missing in this? Not sure what it says.

With the above changes, I approve this section 5 for submission to the
Council.

Chuck
