Re: [gnso-ppsc-pdp] FW: Still working to find a meeting time
Someone propose a motion and second it as the first order of business for the proposed next meeting. We can cut down on email discussion. Liz .... Jeff has, so far, done an incredible job ofmoving this process forward in a neutral and transparent manner. I realize that there was some concern raised in Mexico City about a perception issue due to perceived conflicts of interest. Frankly, I think that label could apply to almost everyone who is an ACTIVEparticipant in ICANN working groups. If this model is going to work, wehave to have neutral chairs (even though they may have a stake in the outcome). If this concept is flawed, I would argue we need to knowsooner rather than later. I trust that Jeff will continue to be neutraland impartial (as I hope to be in the WGWT); however, if he cannot be (which I sincerely doubt) then we need to know that this concept isflawed NOW, before we get too far down the road with these improvements. In short, I know I don't have a vote, but I would encourage each of youto strongly consider Jeff as the Chair of the PDPWT. Margie/Marika/Glen – can you send out a doodle for next week. If we could try different times on Tuesday and Thursday (the 16th and 18th). We will be circulating around the notes from the meeting last week as well in the next day or so. Finally, please keep in mind that we need to elect a permanent chair. At thispoint in time no one other than me has come forward, but if anyone elseis interested, please let the group know before the meeting. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the delay.
