Kristina,

I do not believe 7 days is an unreasonable amount of time to review an
extensive document with a number of substantive provisions.  Just
because an issue is discussed and previously posted does not mean we
have all had time to read and digest plus a number of items were
introduced last minute.

Jeff,

It would be helpful if you would explain for the list (and so I can
explain to the Council) why a full 7 days from original posting is
required, given that. (A) I was expected to generate and distribute the
report slightly more than 24 hours after our last meeting concluded; and
(B) all of the material in the report had been (i) previously discussed;
(ii) previously posted to the list in some form; and/or (iii) is a
quantitative observation?

Liz,

I think many of us need a little more time than today.  There is a lot
in here, and rushing things through is not the best approach.  The
report did just come out late last week.  I think giving a week to
comment is not too unreasonable.  I am still trying to analyze the
ramifications of the recommendations.

The report needs to be finalised so I am taking the liberty of  
closing comments on the report which Kristina sent out late last week
