[gnso-raa-b] Proposed "high priority" list for task 1
RAA subteam B participants, Attached please find a proposed slimmed-down list of "high priority" topics for inclusion in our report under Task 1. This is for discussion on our mailing list and also on our next call (2000 UTC on Monday 4/26). I have tried to consolidate items in our matrix where topics overlapped. (See the third column for cross-reference to our matrix.) I also attach on the last page of the document the list of topics that had been listed on the matrix as "high priority" but did not make the cut. I believe 12 "high priority" topics ought to be a manageable list but of course the subteam may wish to expand or contract it further. A few other observations, all of which should be included in our report: (1) This list follows (more or less) the order of topics within our matrix. It is not in itself a priority ranking (i.e., #1 is not necessarily a higher priority than #12), and I don't think we have any requirement to make such a granular priority ranking. (2) The list does not include any issues that appear to be mainly compliance topics (i.e., where staff has advised that the tools already exist under the current RAA to achieve the stated goal). (3) The list also does not include topics related to due diligence on applicants for accreditation , since these would not be directly reflected in the RAA that the applicant would sign once it had been accredited. (We should explain in the report how these suggested topics are being handled - staff, how should we do so?) Looking forward to your reactions, both on the mailing list and on our call.
