I think that the new language is acceptable.

That said, there seems to be a word or two missing from #2.  Pretty minor 
changes, so feel free to accept or reject without offense :), but the grammar 
is confusing to me as written. I've copied it below with a suggested fix.


Furthermore, the WG recommends that:

#2: Following the adoption of this report and recommendations by the GNSO 
Council; that the subsequent public comment forum (prior to Board 
consideration) and [as well as] the notification by the ICANN Board to the GAC, 
specifically request input on any considerations related to the transition from 
thin to thick Whois that would need to be taken into account as part of the 
implementation process.

dear all, please take a final look at this draft and get your "i can live with 
this" (or not) comments in by 17:00 UTC (mid-day US time) tomorrow.

i'm hoping that we can still submit this in time for the upcoming Council 
meeting (that deadline is 23:59UTC Monday), and with that in mind would ask 
Marika to draft a motion.

again, this isn't a mandatory deadline -- it's just your Chair trying to see if 
we can wrap this effort up and move it on to the Council.

Following the feedback received so far on the proposed additional 
recommendations, I've gone ahead and updated the Final Report accordingly (see 
attached). You'll see the changes in redline which include adding the proposed 
additional recommendations to the executive summary and section 7, updating the 
attendance information and adding a footnote in relation to the RAA 
specification (as the original reference was incorrect and referred to the 
number of the draft version). The rest of the report is identical to the one 
circulated on 18 September for the first consensus call. The one remaining item 
to be completed is the level of consensus (and data of submission).

If you have any additional comments / feedback on the proposed additional 
recommendations, or any other non-substantive edits to the rest of the report, 
please share these with the list as soon as possible.
